squeaking

i was going to put jeep hood latches on both sides. the kind like bungee cord with a hook. . . you know what i mean. i didnt cause the only thing to screw it to was the tail lights and i don't think theyd hold up.

whats a good way to stop the squeaking in my hatch when i have the subs going?
Well the best place to start is to find out what's causing the sqeak. Once you pinpoint the problem we can go from there. It's possible you might need to tighten a few bolts or make a small adjustment. But I can't give you any advice unless I know what's causing the problem.

Your hatch just may be out of adjustment. There should be some rubber stoppers, or adjuster on both sides of the hatch. One may be up higher.

You latch could be worn out over time. you may need a new one.

Weather stripping to help fill the gaps that are allowing the hatch to move.

my hatch used to squeek, and it was just the latch making a little rubbing noise, i put a peice of electrical tape over it :p, and behold, no more squeek! 1 000 001 uses for electrical tape and rising
