Square boxes??

I'm not sure, I've never heard anything wrong with square boxes. As long as the airspace is right, then it should be fine.

here is the theory ( I don't agree with it ) with a perfectly square enclosure you run the risk of cancelation due to standing waves in the enclosure. But at the length of low frequency waves your enclsoure would be the size of a bus for this to actually happen. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Unless your enclosure is humongous don't worry about it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

That is one stupid theory lol, I agree with it to some extent, but only if the box huge like you said.

Originally posted by bowtiefan I've heard this theory too,but if its not ture then why do 95% of all sub boxes have at least 1 angled side?........looks?

looks and a better fit. And it's less likely to tip over if someone doesn't fasten it down properly. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Thats all theory, that was stated before, I have personally talked to tech's at a couple of companies that specialize in subs and they say the same thing that's all theory and not realate.
