sql ?

i'm new to this whole thing. there is a show coming up in Sept in Allentown PA which is close to my neck of the woods. I'll post my set in a second. what class should i be in and how different classes can i be judged in. i would think the more that i'm in, the better chance that i have to win a trophy.

my car is a 2002 infiniti g20. all speakers in stock location.

Not much L in that setup....but maybe a lil SQ with the head unit and processor.

SQ+L = SQL

SQL-L= SQ. No L

you are right, sorry a typo, i think. on the meca website, it say sql, http://www.mecacaraudio.com/dnn50/Competitors/SQL/GeneralSQLRules.aspx

SQL in MECA stands for

Sound Quality League

You will be in Street at the minimum due to the 701. Now if you cut any metal in the vehicle you are going to be bumped to at least modified street, maybe even modified depending on how much metal was cut.

Look for an older white haired fellow driving a red acura. He may be judging I don't know. His name is Tom Shaw, tell him Ramos told you to ask for a Demo. I don't know anything about comps, but from reading the rules I would think the Alpine PXA-H701 puts you in "Street Class" at the lowest. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will make their way in here.

all my stuff is in the stuff locations.no cutting of the metal at all. i would like to get my 701 tuned better. i think i could get a better sound out of it.
