After 2 years of owning the dual 4 ohm type rs 2008 model im thinking about upgrading to a decent daily sql sub.

Want 2-12 inch Woofers.

Current Amp JBL BP 1200.1 "will upgrade soon"

Enclosure 4.2cubic feet tuned to 32hz

*edit the sound i am trying to achieve is loud while retaining sound quality, and good lows for daily"

My choices are

1. Alpine type r newest model

2. Fi ssd

3. Ascendent Audio Chaos

4. Sundown SA-12

5. Re audio se older model

Any other ideas are welcomed

So far i am leaning towards fi ssd or sundown sa 12s

Treo SSi...Im biased, and have not heard every sub on your list, but SSi's are great for SQL and have no problem handling 1000+ rms despite their conservative 750rms rating...They also love low tuning, mine is at 30, and sounds great on low notes

Ive decided to to narrow it down to the SunDown Sa 12 and FI ssd will be purchasing two of either choice which one is the better choice [Pros n Cons] Im trying to have clean low and some kind of spl
