Would an 15in. L7 in 3cf sealed off 1000w be noticably louder than a Me 15in off 800w tuned to 34hz????

I want loud but also want something that will not sound like shyt, with that being said i only listen to rap and r&b and dont really know if I need an SQL based sub. Never heard an SQL sub so i really dont know what to expect from one...

It had to be in a poor install then. Here is an excerpt on the ME from the big 12 challenge SQ subjective results. Nothing sloppy, hollow, or peaky about it.

Very good sense of pace and timing, with a mastery of all kinds of instruments from the guitar of "Back Door Man" to kicks to kettle drums. Recommended.

All testing on these were done in a ported enclosure.
