I'm interested in building a new enclosure for my Rockford Fosgate 15" T1. I just installed my Hifonics 1206D and its a world of difference from the 580 watts rms it was gettin from my Rockford P4002 before. I have it sitting in a 2.75 cu. ft. box tuned to 32 hz at the moment. I'm interested in competing at local competitions this coming year, and would like to build another box to stick this thing in to gain a few more dB's (or tenths, whatever I can get). Should the box be larger or smaller? I already know the tuning should be higher. I'm thinking around 38 hz so I might be able to get some music out of it still. Should I go higher than that? My main concern is definitely the box size though.
