need an SQL 10" for friends car, what do you guys suggest, he wants to spend about $200, and we'll give it about 1000w

how low can you safely tune a 10" without damaging it

does brahma have a 10" or RE? where can i purchase thiem from

ok, i have tried searching

does either of these company's make a 10?

how much are they, where can i get them from, i cant find them anywhere

You can get Adire from http://www.acoustic-visions.com; but most of their products are currently not available due to product line changes.

You can get RE direct from RE if there is not a local dealer in your area. Call them. http://www.reaudio.com. Ask no more questions about how to buy them or price. Just call them.

What amps do you have? You will not find a single 10" sub for under $200 that will handle a true 1,000w RMS unless you happen to find a used Brahma or something for super cheap.

For $200 (or less) you will only find 10" subs that will handle about half that and my two choices would be

soundsplinter RL-i

or

diamond D6

some may debate wether a Diamond D6 is a SQL sub but it thumps hard and handles gobs of power. Sounds clean and controlled to me!

why do people always inquire about mega subs and 1000watt rms amps for $200 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif not that there arent any bargains out there but why not a widescreen 30" plasma HDTV for $499 while your at it and if you found that would you really trust the quality of it?

I've got two Diamond Audio M6s for sale (very new, not completely broken in yet).

If you can scrounge up more then $200 that would work great with 1000wrms being split between the two of them.

I MIGHT be able to fit an RE SX 10 in my fiberglass box but here's a question. The mounting depth is 6.125... do I ONLY need 6.125 or do I need extra space.... if I do need extra space, how much do I need??? Please let me know!!

THIS IS THE ONLY sub I have found that might fit and can handle 1000 watts.... the SQ is supposed to be great, right?

If the sub has a vented pole piece (a hole in the middle of the magnet, for the non-techy types), then you need to have atleast 1" - 1.5" clearance between back of the sub and the enclosure wall. So, you can not butt the sub right up against the back wall.
