SQ/SQL recommendations on 1500-2000 watts tops
IA Flatlyne, then? Good enough for @ge_off_me ; to use in competition and runs off 750RMS. I might be tempted to play around with the 18" version of it on a Tahoe build in a couple years. Either that or 4 Dayton HO 8"s on about 300RMS each
IA makes an SQ/SQL driver now? My God, I have been gone for a long time.

The IA Flatlyne means business as far as SQ is concerned. The underhung motor gives it a very nice advantage over many other subs. The 18'' however, would have to much moving mass to be a strict SQ sub. That would be more of a sql sub as far as I'm concerned.

"The Incriminator Audio Flatlyne is the TRUTH. I would love to describe it, but I have nothing to compare it to. The "feel" and detail in that sub is incredible. The output level can be insane if you want it and the detail is there at all levels. The sub is tight when it should be and yet able to play very low with authority. We put a few tracks through it that get down to 18hz and below. The sub didn't just flutter and make noise. It reproduced that frequency and made you believe it was real. I've heard other subs that would play low and accurate, but never with this much authority. This was all installed in a infinite baffle with NO eq work at all. I'm impressed."

This is a quote from Robert Petty.

Never heard but many recomend dayton. Maybe my nest setup I'll sack up and go that routeCant go wrong with idmax. Also a arc flatline in classifieds for cheap
The Arc flatline is close to the IDMax, and if you are going dayton, avoid the new Ultimax, the specs are amazing, but build quality is absolutely terrible.

SQL would be the goal. It's a big vehicle, so I'm trying to go with a single sub solution for the largest amount of moving mass. Would you do the 15 instead?

Personally, yes I would. Should my incessant whining about its specs that only bother me deter you from the 18? No. haha

Really liking the Xcon suggestions. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Any of your woofers perform well IB?

The Gcon is probably the most IB friendly. But a few people have done a few Dcon 15's and Icon 18's in IB.

That would be great. Check out the specs and see if you like how it lays out. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
After looking over the specs, it does seem to be the best sub you guys offer for IB =]

I am going to try running my flatlyne for now, but if later in the season I decide I need more cone area I will come running to you for a pair of 12s or a single 15 =]

The FL is quite nice, great choice.

I don't see much whining, there lol. I'm willing to take recommendations just as much as the next guy. I also have to remember that this setup will most likely be sealed since I can't really sacrifice all of my cargo space to port the Flatlyne. Seeing as how you have yours in IB, have you played around with sealed and ported on the Flatlyne as well?
