well its that time again. new car need new comps, going to keep the stock appearance so will need to be 6.5 inch 2 way comps (will consider 3 ways).

amp Rockford t-8004ad or t1000-4ad.

current considerations for front(already have rear speakers)

alpine type x pros

rockford t3 comps

jl zr comps

cdt hd comps

....

thats all i gotz, leaning toward the type x/t3 comps because it need to sound good at loud volumes which is where the volume is 75% of the time

I had a $350 budget at one time and had narrowed my choices down to the Boston Pro Series or HAT Unity set, so I'm gonna recommend those. Someone also recommended the Massive CK's (which I really would like to try) and Rainbow SLC's over on DIYMA.

and of course, there's always raw drivers or going used for good bang for the buck choices.

Those RK's look very intriguing especially with such a high power rating. If anything, I'd like to try the mids. I hear they are having tweeter issues with those though as they did with the early CK sets...

May wanna wait on those till they fix the issue.

Then, again every review I read someone is whining about tweeters. Im starting to think some ppl just shouldn't run tweeters.
