what are some good sq songs i can use to test my componets

test what components? highs? mids? lows? id try out like a tchaiskoky orchestra suite. they use a lot of string bass (lows) winds (mids) and strings (highs) download one.

Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits is one of the best recorded and sounding albums I have ever heard. The music is some of my favorite as well which makes it all the more enjoyable. I also suggest Famous Blue Raincoat by Jennifer Warnes. Pretty good music and excellent recording quality. Pretty much any disc put out by Telarc or Sheffield Labs is going to sound wonderful, but the music may not be to your liking, it's mostly jazz and classical.

What kind of music do you like? That may make recommends easier.

My reference disc is Mirrors of Embarrassment by Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit. I am intimately familiar with that CD, but it may not be to your liking.
