SQ goal, 13W6v2, 500/1, O2 Explorer....Sealed or Slot ported?

So that's it, I like output from slotported boxes but have never built a sq vehicle of this magnitude. Im sound dampening with 120 sq ft, running a JL 800/5, Alpine 9887, SPX17Pros active in front doors, a 12 or 13W6v2 and im not sure what to do in the rear doors( any suggestions). So, sealed or ported? Thanks.

SQ you'd want sealed.

but you could always build both boxes and try them.

i had a 13w6v2 sealed in 1.4 cubes, it sounded great and still had good output

The 800/5 releases this month. I was leaning towards the sealed at 1.6 cubs.

Yeah i agree with RidinClean, sealed should give better SQ

the w6v2 line can give great sq results in ported apps, just tune a little lower than recomended and they will give a nice flat responce for being ported.

slot ported with JL subs makes for very good sq and spl both if tuned a few hz lower than recommended. Not a huge JL fan but they make great subs that work in many enclosure types.
