not in SQ, there are better woofers, but in SQL it's a tremendous performer. Just not worth the money in my eyes...

not untouchable in any way, but very hard to combine both good spl and sq in one very good sub. expensive yes, but also very good.

personally (for SQ only) the Eclipse Titanium and the McIntosh subs are very pleasing to the ear for me.

I was wondering what you guys think about 1 12" Eclipse Titanium VS 2 10" Aluminums? How would it compare in SQ and is SPL.

Also what do you think would be the best buy (by varying sub sizes, number of subs, and either 10" or 12"), but not 2 Titaniums becasue that would be 1500rms... too much for stofck alternator (all other ECLIPSE combo's though)

Am I getting towards the SQ of W7 with those?

A lot of factors in that set up. Mainly air space but also how much power, etc. I would go with one 12 if you have the room. The SQ on the Titanium's are better IMO than even the W7's, not as much SPL but still will hit plenty hard. I have a buddy who went the two ten route with a Directed 800 watt amp to each and it hits very hard and is one of the cleanest set ups I have heard.

get the titaniums over the w7s. i have 2 titanium 15s(i have not changed my sig yet) and they slam. i think the tis are louder than the w7s from setups that i have personally heard. one great thing about eclipse woofers is the bottomless design whioch makes it unable to bottom out and slam the coil. i would get the tis and they are field serviceable too so you can change the voice coil out yourself if you blow it at a comp or something.
