The AQ/SQ 3500 is closer to the Crescendo 5500 actually.

U can go to home depot and buy a piece of plexi and mount it on the amp. Sq is. 5 ohm stable also.

There are many people who run them at 1/2 ohm and do it daily. However, the company does not suggest you do this.

Personally I have done it several times and even when I worked there I constantly tested various 3500's at 1/2 ohm dummy loads to see how they operate. Most had no issues, some did fail though.

Go with the aq. Nasty and I have ran both amps. Aq over any other 3500 amp IMO bc of price per rms and durability. Ran my aq @.25 never an issue.
