SQ: 12'' IDmax or W7

Well, you are comparing two subs that aren't real simmilar. As far as sq goes the IDMAX would win.

Personally, I'd take the IDMAX.

But the sub should be the last thing on your mind.

I prefer the W6 SQ Wise over the W7 but I do like the IDMax.....

Sound quality is highly subjective and opinionated. Nothing useful with become of this thread. Basically what you're going to get is people saying what sub they'd rather own or which company is better, which is cheaper, etc.

BTW: Search. If you did you'd already know this. I'm sure this EXACT question has been asked before and I'm sure the threads all eventually ended up being pissing wars.

^^^ pretty much. They aren't really the compairable to be honest, they are both good in their own rights. Fact of the matter if you were looking at SQ from ID the IDQ would be your best bet. On JL you would probably look at the W6.

he's right. atsaubrey does alot of comps with all ID and he changed up from Max to the IDQ. the max had good SQ but was crazy loud. the Q has better SQ.

I'd pick the IDmax over the w7 if your looking at SQ.

I heard both and the IDmax has better SQ. Go try to listen to both of them because some people think L7's are the best sounding subs.
