how do you think they develop per season averages? go to espn.com and you'll season an average season statistic for each player. they get that by taking his numbers and averaging them over 162 games. if you only take what guillen has done in detroit, his numbers are right there with jeters. some players don't work well in certain situations. guillen was asked to replace the greatest shortstop ever so he was under a lot of pressure and didn't produce. he gets moved to detroit and lives up to the potential. also guillen was not a scrub minor leaguer. seattle traded a hall of famer to get guillen

Cause he is a decent back up. That is pretty much all he has been besides 1 year and then last year when Polanco went down. I dont know why you like him so much, he will never be a starter as long as Polanco is in there.

Personally if I was him, I would have rather been traded and played. He might have had a chance to start with some other teams out there. Now he will remain a back up at least this year.

Your right about the world series thing, but u argued about how good Granderson was being a lead off hitter and said I thought Sizemore was better and we had to go back and forth. No you mentioned something about Sizemore comparing the two of them in the leadoff spot, told you that Sizemore was better than Granderson and then went on from there. We have been through this before and you always bring out the Carl Crawford thing. At least I dont hang on my one mistake when you have made many.
