tc9 has a 8" motor and 3" coil. a 3" coil & high excursion 8" sub just dont really work. mass is too high and it would reach mech and not even warm the coil, if you limited/stiffenend the mech it wouldnt be eff.

i did build a 8" sub using a 10" basket and 8" spider...

Anyway you can send me some softs parts for those 8's? I bought two sdc motors looking to build 8;s out of them but haven't had the time to acquire/find softparts. I got the baskets just need softparts

woofercooker might be a better bet, I have some e8s with busted leads if you want them for parts. the leads got pulled from the coil inside.

I might be interested. I have some old e8s, and some treo ssi motors.... might want to make tens if i keep them. Could you beef up the e8s? actually.... I think worst still has my brothers old tsx 10 motor....... send me a PM im all turned on now.

the e8 cant be beefed up really jake did everything possible to make that as loud as it could be with the motor he used. that was the loudest entry level 8" made. it was in the same catagory as the re8 and he beat it.

I'm not selling either anytime soon. And the box is 0.66cuft
