u not going to get 17 volts out of your truck without some costly modifications,plus u dont need it,all u need is high output alt,and some hc batteries,and run some ought guage wire to ur amp.

mono = 1 channel, stereo = 2 channel, 3+ channels is usually refered to as multi-channel

generally in car audio, mono amps use class D circuitry which is more efficient (less current draw to produce the same wattage) than class A/B amps (but low SQ compared to A/B), because of this class D amps are more suited for powering subs due to the relatively high amounts of power needed for subs.

none of the high powered ones are one ohm stable...atleast thats what it looks like...

I like the AB 100.1's that nomad40 has.... those are good amps and are efficient...

I don't think you will find many "cheap" big amps...
