i deffinetly think that have the potential to get louder/as loud. im very impressed with these subs. two of them ported would be rediculous! deffinetly loud as hell. id deffinetly consider them.

forgot to add, that they have pretty decent sq considering the amount of output you get. very loud sub.

played with all three(R,3000,l5) .. Rs and L5s would be your best bet.. yeah the spls get loud for sure but still with the power available im sayin L5s. my best friend has two with the same amp as me and theyre definately louder. havent finished my spl box yet but if you want i can prolly tell you for sure tomorrow.

btw, i recently had 2 15in. CVRs sealed off a bx1000D, which would you say out of these choices would get louder? They were pretty danm loud.

Um... he said SPL box, so no, not sealed.

um... thats gonna be kinda tough cause the 15s have a lot more cone area.. but i think any of those sub combos would get louder in the right box.

i juat came im from building my SPLish (spl/dd kinda) box for the Rs and its rediculous. the box is around 4.5 cubes net and around 39 hz. dont know when ill get it metered but im sure ill be happy with my score.. expecailly since theyre $120 woofers.

i would say that theyre as loud or maybe louder than the two comp VR 15s i had in my car. they were ported in like 7 cubes @ around 34-35 hz. i have more power on the Rs though.

anybody think a 15in. Type R/8500 ported tuned to 37hz with around 3 cubes ran off an 801D have the potential to get as loud as any of these?
