no tc sounds love?

Only true SPL type sub TC ever made was the 5200. But then again that platform became the eclipse TI PRO, Team RF, T3 TSNS, etc so they have put there name in the ring on a few occasions. TC though will tell you that even the 5200 is designed to sound very good. I believe it requires an insanely small box that will just barely hold the sub causing the setup to be inefficient. I would guess that it would sound good though based on tc in general. They just don't make bad sounding subs.

A pair of 5200 15s I heard was pretty efficient medium box tuned to 28hz lots of port area. It could do a mean hair breeze bridged off a pure audio 4 channel on an acura hatchback around 200-250 watts a sub Louder than most setups with 2000 watts.

My guess is the lots of port area is the key to that. They will definitely want to breath. No doubt they would be able to get loud. That sub is one of the first real big coil, motor, excursion subs that I can remember.
