OK so i am looking at quite a few spl subs. Not sure what to choose. I would like an educated choice, not just a "i heard this once and it was good" thing. lol.

hold up, its a poll, im adding options, btw, i will have at least 1800watts rms(true). it is going to be powered by an IA 20.1 or a DDM3. Really not sure yet. Also, lmk if you have one of these amps as i might be interested.

depends on how much power you will run and what your ultimate goal is.

For low power (2000w and under) I suggest something efficient. Built with lightweight parts like a flat aluminum coil and light cone like a composite. aluminum, or carbon fiber. And softer suspension.

For higher power (over 2000w) I suggest a flat copper coil and strong cone like paper or kevlar. Also a stiffer suspension and multiple spiders.

I think they did a test with most of those drivers and Mach 5 was loudest
