spl out of Diamonds

its just a simple question that nobody apparently can answer. i read on one of these threads someone tested one d3 12" and he said it done something like 134 so im just wondering what two d3's would do togather.

It is all dependent on the vehicle used. If your using a CRX or Explorer, you may have better results. From my experience a pair of D3 12's should reach 140 db on the TL with 1200 watts.

A better question would be asking for suggestions for an spl setup in your vehicle, using certain equipment.

see if this helps the amp is a nitro 1200 " yea i know not the best in the world" the subs are d3.2 12"s which are wired for 2ohms a peace the box is a kicker cvx box. the car is a 96 olds cutlass sl. im just wanting to know what db range would i be looking at when i run it. 120-140sh im new to this in a way. this is my first time using diamonds. i just heard the d3's d6's and the hex pro subs are very good sounding subs. i havent hooked them up yet so i dont know what to expect. but any help would be appreciated.

I assume the box is ported , if so you will need to know what it is tuned to. If your tuned in the 32-35hz range you should be close to a 140.

ok here are the results 133.00 flat from two diamond d3.2 12" subs. my buddy has a 10" d3 and he hit 131db same car 96 olds cutlass he is running a kicker 400.1 amp and he has a slot port box. does anybody have any tips on how i could get my db numbers higher with the d3.2 12"s

if my stock alt puts out 140 amps, does that mean I can run 140 amplifiers before upgrading my electric?
