We are providing test results performed by us of the Taramp's T-800.1 2ohm model.

We are using our professional Next-USB System with Level 3 AC/DC 1200A TH HE Sensor for power output measuring and our Level 2 AC/DC 400A Sensor for power input measuring.

We are using our own contracted import company - JFA Eletronicos for regulated 115/220v AC to DC Power Supply adjustable from 12.8-14.4vDC.

We are using Centech Infrared Temperature gun for monitoring ambient and Amplifier temperature.

We are using 8 1,000w Resistive banks mounted to Steel bars for output load and heat dissipation.

We are using SPL-Lab Software v2.6.10 in both Power and RTA mode.

Amplifier rated output-

12.6v 78F 1KHz 8%THD Maximum output-

2ohm- 800w

4ohm- 456w

Our Test Results-

(Because we provide more test data than anyone else, it will be impossible to accurately compare our data with another tester without knowing all of their values as well.)

QoSFRRTAT- ("cause-for-tat")

Quality of Signal Frequency Response Real Time Analyzing Test

This tests the FR amplitude curve by measuring the signal amplitude WITH a fixed load on it that is allowed to receive variables during test such as increase in temperature, etc that would likely happen in real world.


8ohm Test ( We take LONG break intervals between each ohm load test so please try not to post replies before we complete 2 more posts completing the rest of the Ohm load testing.

Protection System- While supplying shorted output and low impedance protection, the circuit itself protects against excessive output and Strict impedance protection.

We tested 2ohm load dropping below 2ohm (around 1.7ohm) on less than 100w and within 20 seconds, it went into protect.

Testing frequencies below 20hz repeatedly at 0dB results in excessive output protection but above 20Hz, does not effect it.

Due to the natural roll off of the Rail to produce clean output in the amplifier in the lower frequencies, we do NOT recommend it for subwoofer use.

You may lose some output power in the subwoofer range and more importantly, the amplifier begins to clip at a fixed volume point when dropping into the subwoofer range from a lower midbass range.

This amplifier should be used for midbass, midrange and tweeter use.

Efficiency hovered in the 60s pretty much throughout the whole test.

THD, the amplifier is rated at 8%THD so it was imperative for us to test it's output on varying THD to get more data from it.
