RE, SE, HC, SE/XXX, XXX, MT, XMX, Partheton
SE/XXX is exactly what the name implies, a mix between the SE and the XXX. These are geared more towards louder output.

How would you describe each?

I see tons of post saying blah blah is a SQ sub and Yadda yadda is a SPL sub...

From reading the specs on the site, The way I have been looking at it

RE

SE

HC

SE/XXX

XXX

Are all subs that are increasingly bad as$$ subs as you move up the line.

They can all have great SQ and ignorant SPL's given the propper enclosures and enough of power.

The big difference is as you go up the line the motor assembly gets tougher and XMAX increases...

When you hit the MT its just Balls to the wall Air moving Sonic Incenerating siesmic inducer that destroys stuff... (in Short Actually is geared toward SPL)

What exactly is the XMX??? A Mix between a XXX and a MT??? What are its features? Any Pics??? Whats its Niche???

Same with the Partheton, if seen pics, but wahats it really designed for?

Can anyone actually shed some light on the names of what tehy stand for?

If you call, which i will be doing tomorrow, they will tell you. The SeXXX I was told was the SE with XXX tech, BUT still not as good as XXX.

This is from the people at RE. Will find out more tomorrow and post.
