spl enclosure for 2 rf punch hx2 15s

i have a 2002 gmc envoy so i have space but im not sure where to start. ive always had to buy my custom enclosures but im gunna give it a try to build one myself. im looking for a good daily/spl enclosure? if thats possible. any help is appreciated

Well I guess I'll add that I'm running a sundown saz 1500 v2 and the box I currently have is 3.4cubes ea tuned to 38 hz

Current box sounds good what is the orientation of subs and port how much port area.

The port is about 20in deep 17.5 tall 3in wide it's a dual slot port. I also have the subs inverted and I did turn my phase to 180

That spec was for just one side so the width would be 6in I guess

What direction are the subs facing up back forward. Same with ports. I'm guessing both back subs in middle

Oh I'm sorry, port is firing off the hatch and subs are facing the ground

Try flipping the box subs firing up. More port area will help as well slightly higher tuning to keep the lows decent side firing port. If after you flip the box you still want to build a new box I can help.

already did, the roof flexed alot but the low end(28hz) was pretty weak, the main reason for me wanting a new enclosure is because the one i have is falling apart, i tried o re-fiberglass it but the power i guess is too much or the box is just plain ****.

SPL and daily are kind of two different requirements. SPL would mean you want as loud as possible for short periods of time, daily would mean you want it loud, but to sound good on music. Which is it that you want?

If you looking for more output in the lowend id try sub up larger port to side tuned lower. Give me some measurements of your cargo area and ill send you a design.

build a new box with aeros so you can change the tuning if you really want a spl/daily set up
