spl compitition build and daily driver?

i am getting ready to start a project and i have to make a decision i want to compete in some spl comps i have a van with most of the Necessary pieces in place including two ho alts. here is what i was wondering if i move my speakers up from the back to just behind the front seats and seal off everthing from the speakers back i loose a lot of conveniences that make the van a daily driver access to everything from the front is nice. i would be doing set up and tuning from the rear if walled off in other words. if i was to keep speakers in the rear i am afraid i will have way to much weight in stiffining the interior walls and that will also take away from being a daily driver unless maybe there is a lightweight way to stiffin the inside walls is there? and will there be some gain in the extra free air resonance of keeping speakers in the rear?
