Hey all! I currently purchased 2 soundstream spl 160 15's that are going in a 2-dr cavalier 99'.They recommend 1.5cf sealed per sub for high spl,but they also recommend 2.0cf sealed per sub as well. Both 15's are dual 2ohm and will see 500rms ea.What would give me more spl,1.5cf or 2.0 cf per sub seald? I wanted to do ported but that requires more room than the cavy can handle in a trunk.(3.25 cf per sub ported) Any Ideas??

If you can get the 2cf per sub that would be best. They don't like to play real low in smaller enclosures. I had a pr of them when they first came out. Great subs. Just never realy did that well in the SPL arena. Perfect daily driver sub though!

Actually, they will go insanely low in the 1.5 cube enclosure. The largest determining factor in the lowend extension will be the application.

These are one of my alltime favorite drivers. If you ever want to get rid of them, let me know. I SO regret selling mine.
