Well heres were im at, i have a box....tuned to 35hz, about 3.5-4.0cubic feet internally after displacement......

Im looking for something not along the lines of xxx, or w7, nothing like that im looking for pure spl...

My Q is great but im wondering if theres anything else that can get louder?,

I was told shocker's im looking for something i can get like i dont know, soemthign that will wang because this 12" is already stupid loud and to be honest i dont have a clue how much power is going to it...and it sucks...cause i have been told a million different things..im running my modded mtx 1501d at .9ohms....and i want something that will get louder without spending money that i can trade towards or sell...so i dont know.....but dont think im downing the Q theres no way i am i love it just seeing if theres any other options...like if i was to work with my moded mtx like ya know get a sub thats dual 1 ohm and wire the amp .5 i need your help true SPL enthusaiasts....

Ive seen a shocker sig do some huge numbers. Raise the frequency of the port, 35 hz is low. That will get ya louder! Could get a dual 1 ohm sub, give you more wattage at .5ohms. That will get ya louder! It's called master your install/vehicle. Like I told you before...it's the best way to get louder. If you master your install/vehicle...you will seriously not see a large variance in loudness with different subwoofers. It will most likely be indistinguishable, but I bet a straight up swap would not yeild anymore than a few dB's at MOST. So...quit wasting you're money...buying/selling/buying/selling...

yea mike. i think like every 2nd week you are trying to buy a god **** woofer.

box is teh shit and istn coming out , even if i wanted it to its not...its perfect for anything...imo unless you guys think there would be a better design/idea for it.....because my box is the biggest that will fit in my car...it still looks like theres tons of space yes...but i cant get anything else thru the trunk and if i try and put anything else in thru the back it will wind up being smaller then the starting box....but if you can make me one better and get it in there then fine with me.....

from my point of view, running an amp that low for a long period of time along with the fact the protection is removed doesnt seem like a good idea. but, hey its only ~3bills [/sarcasm]
