Spkr problems, are these bad?

Attached pics. It's hard to see, but there is rust on the speaker in two of them, on inside the hole in the back of the magnet and by the +/- terminals.

In the other pic, there is a small tear in the rubber around the edge of the speaker. My drill slipped and I poked when screwing the speaker to the door.

How detrimental is all of this? What can I do, if anything? I thought to put some silicone or something on the tear. Is that okay or should I leave it alone?

Thanks.

Hmmm... pic is smaller than I thought. The hole is hard to see, but it's just a tear less than 1/4"

Oh man, that happened to me too when i was drilling holes in the door......i hope there is something to fix it... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Is it just the surround? you if so then you should be able to repair it.
Yeah, it's just the rubber. It's a small tear about the size of a philips bit. I don't notice any sound problems when it plays, but I don't know if the vibrations will open it up more or something.

What can I use to repair it?
