Like i said, i need to replace my kx1200.1 and need to power my 2 older L7s (maybe like 2002 models?) Someone recommended a hifonics 2010d or a kicker ZX1500 but im open to any options really. I really really dont have any time to do the research needed to get the best amp for my subs so im looking for suggestions. Id say the budget is like 700 or less.

What do you guys think?

Im also looking into a new deck, the AVX77 from JVC. Anyone have thoughts on this as well? It reviewed well and seems pretty neat.

Thanks,

Marty

This one? http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products/amplifiers/TE1501D.cfm
I never looked into any MTX amps. How are they? Id really rather buy an amp new because ya never know how much abuse they been put through before buying it.

Im leaning towards a kicker ZX1500.1 at the moment. Any1 object to that?
that is the newer ones...i have the older one...older are BEAST of amps...the one i have is near mint condition....i have thread in the classifieds with it for sale.

rockford t1500-1bd, ed NINE.1, aq1200 (or 2200), mb quart dsc2000 (or 1500).

all depends on the ohm load of your subs.

oh, and the kicker amps are good too.

You have a blown cap in the amp more than likely. Had the same thing happen to a soundstream amp.
