Spiders hitting cone?

Ok I have the massive tx69 yes I know cheap but I needed a better than stock for cheap. Anyways the spiders aren't attached they kinda just float there so when ever I turn them up they start hitting the cone underneath... Anybody know of a way to fix it?

without taking everything apart? i guess u could try to glue it, it probably wont work but i wouldnt go through the trouble of repairing that sub if it needs anything more than some glue

Get your self some goop and re glue the spiders to where they were glued at first.

I just dont get how the sub works without the spiders connected. Seems like it would be a disaster.

It would play with VERY low power but it would have to be noisy.

Their actually 6x9 the ridges are very shallow and they were never glued down lol

Meh, just re glue them or find ya a new pair....

If they were that crappy from the start I would just find new speakers...lol

But if you really want to use them then yeah just reglue it. Make sure you get it centered though, does it have any play in it? Like can you feel anything rubbing if you push on one side of the cone? I would imagine it would have to...

I got them for 30 so it's not a loss I just needed them to throw on a highs amp instead of stock. Funny thing is the cone came off the outter surrounding plastic within 2 weeks.. Most embarrassing speakers I've ever had but I siliconed the he'll out of them and they been fineinus the spiders mechanically.

No the speaker is solid just metal wires are long as he'll and form this big hoop going to the terminal and hit the cone each time it plays loud. They def aren't worth keeping it was just a fill in for the time being
