On a side note. I ****in hate spiders too. Scary as **** just because they are so small and can kill ya.

 
they are the ribbed parts of the woofer located under the cone. Usually the factory doesn't use enough, or uses crappy ones--typical

 
they take the inner fluids of the goliath birdeaters and make it into a compound that is in turn used to weave together the inner suspension of high end woofers. this fluid when mixed with elmers glue causes the new cloth like material to be flexibly, but durable. Most common spider used is the goliath bird eater, however any large spiders have the particular chemical in them to do the trick.
