spider to basket...

What is the best thing to attach the spider with the basket ....epoxy...f-26...or what? never dealt with this kind of thing..

This has happened to my pair of ample audio 12x series subs. Only running them off a bxi1605bd and has made them come apart at the spider

Loctite epoxy...comes in a red and blue tube...

Odds are you aren't going to glue them back straight though and the coil will rub, you can give it a shot!

to the OP, before you begin to glue the soider down, try to take the dustcap off. if you can get the dustcap off then you can use shims and re-alighn the coils which would save you a recone.

I reglued the spider on my konaki 15" when they popped off, I didnt use shims, just reglued it and let it dry a couple of days, then wanged away, no coil rub was detected.

I guess I was lucky.
