Speeding ticket..

Well.. I just got a ticket.. I was going 80 in a 55.. I thought it was a 65, but I guess that really doesn't make a huge difference..

Anyway.. The ticket was 145$.. I could have bought a new HU, or the new components I really need..

Haha.. Yeah, I'm pissed at myself.

Umm.. what should I expect for insurance??

I have never gotten a ticket before.

long as u go to traffic school your insurance shouldn't be affected

wow, only $145 for 25mph over, i would just pay it and move on with your life

unless your insurance company has a reason to look at your driving record at renewal your insurance wont go up

Over where im from, 20mph over the speed limit and ur license gets pulled from you...

Driving school gets it dropped in my state. $40 and 3 boring hours of class. but its worth it.

If they give you a temporary paper license while they hold yours (they held mine until I brought back proof of driving school), you can alter the birthdate and make yourself 21. I did, and I am glad I got my ticket.

I was on 169 going south..

umm it was in Edina.. I'm not sure what road I was crossing over.. But it was like a 1/4 mile before the first set of light you get to, if you get onto 169 S. from 394..

My friend is 17 and drives an S2000. Since January he got one speeding ticket about 4 months ago. Another speeding ticket 2 weeks ago, a ticket for an illegal u-turn 4 days ago, and a speeding ticket today (He has a beltronics Sti).
