speeding ticket

Thats sounds quite shady. Basically a standardized bribe through the state.
It's called the justice system //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I paid about triple the cost of the ticket to have an attorney show up for me in court, in return for which the ticket never shows up on my driving record or my insurance agency. It's still there in the DMV computers for a few years, but unless I get pulled over again in a year or so, I can forget about it.

and deferred ajudication is what its called. its basically probation for a certain amount of time and you pay a fine and if you dont get a ticket it doesnt go on your record...

if your records are clean you can do a plea bargin and get the ticket reduced to something lesser like a seatbelt violation. I don't think they'll totaly remove an almost 20 above speeding ticket.

When I got my first ticket, well when I got my first two tickets at the same time. I got an attorney and he got my 10 points reduced to 1.

correct, louisiana doesn't use points so don't worry about that

did a state trooper give you the ticket? if so plead not guilty and

most of the time they don't even show up and the ticket gets dropped
