I hate that, I was driving the other day and this cop pulls up behind me and rides like 1 foot away from me, I was doing 30 in a 30

Your a ****ing moron. I've had 3 bikes and the adage that the cops never catch you is pure and utter bullshit. First off, they run your plate before they flash you, so if you run...your just retarded cause they'll show up at your house and arrest you. I've been clocked at well over 140 in a 55 and they STILL got me.....it took a roadblock 8 miles away but they still got me.

yeah I was thinking of getting one of those. The cop was a total douche to me aswell. I was kinda hoping he would give me a warning, but I guess he was in a bad mood.

Hey. speeding tickets happen. I mean get off the guys nutz for christ sakes. Its not like he was going mad crazy or some shit. He was playing his music as a lot of us do and sometimes we get caught up in the moment. Anyone else denying that is honestly full of shit.

Just like the one guy said, being your first, just go to the court house and pay it and hopefully learn from it. That or you could call and ask what it is and just go pay it if you dont want to mess with the system. But sometimes it helps if you go to court to lessen the charge or he may take some pts away. Depends what mood the judge is in though.

Trust me been there done that. It happens, just hope you learn and try to pay more attention. At least no harm was caused.

Thing is what if you are like flying the other way on say an interstate and he clocks you. I betcha he wouldnt be able to read you license plate then and you would have plenty of time to get away. Two options you will have: (1) go to court and plea nolo/or get a copy of your driving record, talk to the prosecutor and tell them its your 1st offense. (2) Pay the ticket.

Pleading nolo wont take any points off license, but you just pay the fine. Dont know how things work where you live, but thats how it is here in Atlanta. Speeding tickets are just revenue for the police, they just want their money.

I actually would have lost my DL years ago if it wasnt for certain judges being in a good and giving mood. At one time in my life, I was at 10 pts and if you get 12, you lose you DL for up to 6 months and have to pay the reinstatement fees which can be quite high.
