**** u guys dont know wth your talking about. Go to court because you have a chance of it being reduced without points. Your not getting out of paying a fine. 19 mph over there gonna hit you hard especially cus of your age. if they reduce the ticket to a non moving violation you wont get points on your license. Every time you renew your policy the insurance company runs a sheet on your current driving record its called an abstract i. Check your states point system to see how many points the violation is.They will most likely reduce the ticket with no points cus they only really want the $ buut you will be paying out the *** in a fine best believe. If you dont show up or plead guilty thats automatic fine and points so go to court. If you talk to the clerk and explain your in school they'll let you pay if off over time if you dont they will suspend your dl till its paid.if its a state trooper they dont have to show up in court anymore a D.A handles it now, local cop they still show up. hope you learn from this the cop was right your 17 doing 90 you are the reason our insurance rates are through the roof. good luck

I was off I-20 near thomston ga? I told the cop that i was really scared and he told me to call nxt week and that they should be able to knock it down.....i hope thats tru. I just wanna pay it and be done. I dont want my ins to go up either. Fml. Please pray if u believe in god. Lol. Fml!

Go to court and plead not guilty. They will set a trial date. Go to court on your trial date and hope that the cop doesn't show. There's always a chance the cop won't show up and if he doesn't the ticket will be dismissed. If he does show there is no point in arguing because the judge will believe everything the cop says and assume everything u say is a lie. So if he does show just change your plea to guilty and request traffic school. Trust me I have experience with speeding tickets

so! today i go pullled otver for doin 89mph in a 70 zone in GA. i need yall help! this is my first ticket and im on 17! i aint got alot of money cause im goin to college in 5 months! Im so scared and worried. i kno i messed up and i feel like stupid shit for doing what i did. i know it was wrong!!! will my ins find out? will it go up? the place i got pulled over in a small town off the interstate. Should i drive 2 hrs there to go to court? Should i just pay it or do u think i can get it down a few mphs??Give advice and tips please! im sooo worried. i was goin that fast cause i had to piss really bad!

you should be able to take a safety course to keep the points and ticket off your record but you can only do it so often so take your foot off the go petal or be smart about it i got a 77 in a 55 for $256 and i took a safety course and it took like 20% off the fine and no points and if i go get my driving record the ticket is not on there

word of advice,1st point set up a date for a pretrial to see the da.2nd point the date you see the da find out when the last day the radar was last calibrated.if the calibration was a few months before you received your speeding ticket,chances are the calibration is off.you can go to trial to argue old calibrations would throw off clocked readings,however you would have to lockup passed cases that were thrown out to see how you could possibly prepare for your trial.otherwise you could keep postponing your trial in hopes the cop gives up and never shows up in court?goodluck to whatever path you take my friend!

yea. on the side of the road he knocked it down from 94mph to 89mph. so i dont think i can ask for too much. I feel so much better that i told my dad tonite, he didnt get crazy and take my car away. THANK GOD! lol. i just gonna keep praying and call the court @ the end of nxt week and see what they say...we will see...

Wow, 94 MPH. That takes things to a different level. What business did you have going that fast? If you drive that way often, you should have your license taken away. There's just NO excuse for that IMO.

First off, every time you've talked you sound like you "really have to piss" and you're on speed. So, slow down on the fluids so you can calm down a little and not get so many tickets.

Second of all, go to court and be sincere. Don't try to argue the miscalibration shit. That will make the judge pissed. Explain the situation and be mature. He might knock it down to 14 mph over. And next time, use the chronic diarrhea excuse. It works much better than "yeah i've got to piss...."
