Im so scared and worried. i kno i messed up and i feel like stupid shit for doing what i did. i know it was wrong!!! will my ins find out? will it go up? the place i got pulled over in a small town off the interstate. Should i drive 2 hrs there to go to court? Should i just pay it or do u think i can get it down a few mphs??Give advice and tips please! im sooo worried. i was goin that fast cause i had to piss really bad!

calm down. its not the end of the world. as far as your insurance finding out, it depends how much they check. ive gotten several speeding tickets and my insurance hasnt noticed. just pay the ticket, you wont get out of it in court and it will cost more.

pay it. and most insurance companies dont check if youve gotten any other tickets til you change your coverage in some way. you will be fine. just pay it newb

It will mean 3 points on your license and increased premiums when its time to renew your insurance. If you have the extra $150 to pay the court cost it is sometimes better to go and beg the judge to reduce it to speeding 14 and under. Those are not reported unless it is a CDL.

in ga. the ticket can cost mucho bucks. i got a ticket in terrell co. that cost $508.00. i depends on the county but i would say you are looking atleast $350.00. so start saving lunch money.

Check your ticket to see if it was a violation of state or local ordinance. If it's local, I don't think it will result in a premium increase.

I am surprised they aren't making him go to court for the ticket because I received one when I was 16 and had to go to court for it. There was no option for juveniles to pay at that time and I don't know if that has changed or not (been a long time for this old fart). BTW, traffic court sucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I remember I was scared getting my first ticket just like the OP. By my 4th ticket, I was arguing with the cops on the side of the road to the point they would have one hand on their gun telling me to get in my vehicle and leave... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
