Specifics on what a H701 will do for me

Ok, got a couple questions about getting a H701 w/ W200.

1. When i listen to Hip hop the bass is too much at say level 9 on the sub, but then if i listen to rock on same level it sounds perfect, will the 701 make it so you can tune the sub to sound the same in these two situations, like elimanating the sub from getting TOO loud in lower freq's (like with most hip hop music)..?

2. Does time alignment do anything if i want it to be for driver AND front passenger? Would it just align the sub or is there actually a benefit w/ the front stage as well?

you'd be able to tune your sub w/ the EQ, TA, and level adjustment.

TA is adjusted to benefit one listening position, usually either driver or passenger, not both.

bass on hip hop will usually be overwhelming compared to rock

1) yes, it has multiple save settings that you can modify and load.

2) time algnment is actually ment for the rest of your speakers, not just your substage. It won't help for front passenger/driver as well as a good install would, but it can help compensate if you have rear speakers...

bty it will impregnate any women in the vicinity as well so be careful

Even with tuning or just in general? I hate to have to go into the audio menu everytime a hip hop song comes on and mess with my settings or vice versa, trying to elminate having to do that if possible...

Im trying to see if I can justify the price tag of the 701 for what my needs are (not much)...

I already have a good install, just kinda doin the "finishing touches" I guess.

with the h701, you'll have to go through even more steps to change settings. If you think that's a pain in the *** now, just wait.

h701 is WAYY overkill in your case. You don't need dual 31 band eq's, 8 band parametric, T/A in .5ms steps, and enough crossover points and channels for a 4 way active setup, just to tune your bass from totally overbearing to somewhat realistic.
