Speakers for an old J body

I have a 92 Z24 cavalier...and i think the front speakers are 2.5" so i was wondering if someone could clarify this! i can't find any info at all...they maybe 3.5 but i dunno...

if u know...could u suggest a place to get them and good brand??

I had a 92 four door probably the same speaker size 31/2 I stuck some JBL GTO in there my poor ears the location is way too close to your ears and can't put out any mids try some infinty 3 1/2 in the location they put out more mids than my old JBL you'll be pleased

I used to own a 94 Cavalier 2 door. I put tweeters in the dash locations and pointed them toward the windshield and used something to shield the rear side(side facing away from the windshield) of them so that way they weren't too overwhelming. And then I put 6 1/2 inch mids in the kick panels. It was an excellent soundstage. Remember, with an EQ you can always tune down the highs.
