speakers dont sound as clear anymore

i just installed my soundstream pca 6.5s today and after about a 30min ride im at a light and they dont sound as loud so im like wtf and i turned it down, but after listening some more they dont sound as clear. they sound distorted. i also had some cadence 5.25s that did the same thing. i had the hpf on the HU set at 90hz so i tried some diff settings, like a little higher and what helped a little. i also turned the hpf on the amp up a little from and bass boost all the way down, but it still sounds the same.

bump, oh yeah i saw that i have a 1" tweeter and a .5" tweeter, but its weird that both speakers would fail at the same time
