speakers cutitng out

hey guys just wondering if you got any ideas why when ever the bass of my sub hits pretty hard the speakers cut out? i wouldnt think that its taking that much power cut my amps only runnning at 500 watts at 4 ohms?its pretty much only when the bass hits really hard but if i turn the bass down it doest do it???

Speakers- infiinity reference series 3.5 and 6x8

Sub12 inch kicker l7

 
How is the power wired for the amp? What gauge wire, where is it attached, etc? Same with ground.

Also, when you say the speakers cut out, you mean the subwoofer, or the other speakers in the car? Also, do your lights dim or anything like that when the bass hits?
