flakko, i heard that will cause clipping! you must upgrade to monster cable 24 awg! regardless of the size, monster cable is greater than anything just because it is monster!

16 gauge going to your subs is no biggie when the wire is 6-8 feet total. I guess I was concerned with the total length of the installation. Frankly, I just think it was an excuse for a mistake. I didn't ask for 12 gauge to be used, but that was partly run already from a previous install and would really make sense to be used for the purpose of vanity/looks, if nothing more. Hey, they could have at least asked what I'd like run if it weren't obvious.
