ok in my 1995 taurus, i am stuck with 5.25's in my doors and rear deck. i was thinking about gettin the memphis pr coaxials or boston s series coaxials for my front stage and i have heard people talkin about having midbass speakers for rear fill. is this a good idea or would the people sitting in back only hear midbass and not much else? oh and all the speakers would be amped i have a 85w x4 at 4ohm amp.

considered it but i have never fiberglassed anything before, im short on funds, and i am not very good at constructing things. i just want some speakers right now i can pop in and forget about.

Spend the money you would on the rear midbass drivers and apply that amount to better front stage speakers. instead of $150 on fronts and $100 on rears, spend the $250 on fronts and get a good midbass component set like CDT's which had great midbass especially when broken in! I have 5.25 CDT's with a 100 watt amp and they shake the rear view mirrors and side mirrors all by themselves.
