Speaker Impedance for Jeep Grand Cherokee with Infinity Sound System

Does anyone know the speaker impedance for a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the Infinity sound system? The speakers are blown out and I would like to replace them. Thanks in advance.

if its infinity they should be 4ohms. But you may want to check on that. If you pull one of the speakers out, it should be labeled on the back of the magnet what the impedence is. Or if you have a voltmeter that measures resistance you can find out that way as well.

I think they were 2 ohms in those systems IIRC.

I did one a month or so back...
