speaker amp

would it be horrible to run an amp rated at 125wx2 (4ohm) RMS to speakers that were rated at 50wrms

the reason I ask, I have an extremely underpowered amp in the trunk right now(pioneer 5300) trying to run 2 KCVR's. I'm looking at a new sub amp, and trying to amp my front speakers.....so was wondering if it would be ok to use the current amp for my speakers?

Keep the gains really low and watch the crossover setting and it shouldn't be an issue.

so, where do I find a distro block that has a 4awg input...a 4awg output, and an 8awg output?

or should I just run 4awg to my sub amp AND my speaker amp?
