A 64-year-old man was so upset that a 37-year-old woman took his $5 to perform a *** act, then reneged on the deal, he successfully sought her arrest.
But Raymond E. Charles, of 4256 Amelia Drive, who said he didn't think his solicitation of a ********** was illegal, also ended up in a cell at Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center, according to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to the report of a disturbance at McCrays Mill Road and Santa Fe Trail at 4:10 p.m. sunday.
When they arrived, Charles flagged down a deputy and said the woman should be arrested because they agreed to the transaction and he had paid her before she changed her mind, an arrest report says.
Jennifer Nelson, of 3 Green St., gave a similar account to another deputy, the report says.
