i guess i can explain to u why it sparks since maybe that will help u in understanding
inside your amp there are capacitors ( little batteries if your not familiar ) and them chargin up is what causes that spark

dude i never get sparks anymore, i dont know why but i hook up the positive then the negative and its fine no spark at all, no fuses popping or anything
