Sounqubed HDS212 + Existing Enclosure..

Now that i figured out the active system and don't have to buy a passive component set i can focus on the subs instead, i would like to use the existing enclosure Tne212D MTX Car Subwoofer Enclosure MTX Audio if possible and use only 1 subwoofer to replace the 2 that inhabit the enclosure. Don't know if there is divider wall in the middle of that enclosure so i should probably go look, that would make this easier to figure out.

The HDS212 was recommended to me, if there is a divider in that enclosure would one side of that enclosure be too small or work just fine, if it's too small i could cut "large" hole in divider and then if it's too big perhaps use some kind of fill material to pack inside the enclosure and reduce swept volume, i would prefer to keep the enclosure sealed.

What options do i have to use the HDS212 with my existing enclosure, if any ?

well i guess you can. look here..Box Sizes and Tuning
2.15 with divider and 2.1 without divider, there is a lip on each side to pick up the enclosure and that subtracts 1.25" inches from total width.

Recommended internal volume of enclosure: 1.8 cubic feet, hopefully .35 cubic feet of extra airspace won't hurt and it may just lower the resonant frequency a touch more so it's looking like i can use the MTX enclosure and keep it sealed but if there is a divider it has to be opened..

gstokes, check the classies on here, there are often times that you can find delicately used subs, and sometimes amps as well. good luck, brother. or you could reach out to woofercooker, he sometimes has a few recones that he does, and usually has decent prices on them.

any suggestions for sub that handles at least 500W rms and is under $100 that enjoys sealed enclosure ?

Honestly you should just build or have a ported box built.

you guys are right, of course you are..

Before i went active i was afraid of a ported box because the subs were overcoming the highs with the sealed box but now i got lot's of highs and could actually use more low end, sometimes it's funny how a plan comes together because people been telling me since the beginning to go ported and now i can justify it. Another benefit of going ported is it takes less power to makes the same amount of sound, makes perfect sense since ported is louder. I could build it but it would require a radial saw, jig saw, square, liquid nails, titebond, cloth covering, spray glue, screws, building material, saw horses, etc..

I will buy a box local but i will look into the classified ads and talk to woofercooker as well and see what my options are, thank you..
