My brother asked me for help on buying a sub, the problem he listens to mostly classic rock. Like pink floyd, ac/dc, led zeppelin etc so I have no idea what would be some good choices for him. I was thinking IDQ but what do you guys think? Like to keep it under $200 most likely will run sealed and a 10 or 12 @ 500-1000 watts

There's many options. I listen to find of the same music as well a ported box will give better bass response if tuned right. But the Idq or the sound splinter are both decent subs. A tantric ld would be fine to
