Anyone have any experience or knowledge of the XXX6500 and XXX10000 amplifiers? I have done some searching and am not really impressed with the numbers on it. First that it bench tests far less than SS rates it at. Then the S/N and Damping numbers are nothing to awe over. Are these good? I was thinking of using a 10000 on a SS XXX 18. Any suggestions on an amp incase I get this sub?

They're not bad amps, but you need a massive electrical system to keep voltage up.

Yeah i'm hoping to find a way to get two 300 amp irraggis under the hood of my 04 Trail Blazer. I know one will fit but it's a tight squeeze in there with the 4.3 L. I can fit 4 Yellow Tops in teh back and still fit an 8 to 10 cube net enclosure.

The 10000 is actually close to 7000 watts. I does require a massive electrical system. I wouldn't use this amp for daily.

I was told they actually produce there rated on 16V, big increase at 18v... I am running a 6500 @ 2ohm on 16V daily pretty powerfull, not bad for the price...Polo.

I'm pretty sure the 04's have 4.2's.. don't order the wrong alt...

Dont have any problems, but its alot of battery power

Is that the same 4.3L Vortec they have had in the blazers since like 96 or even before, lol ? Polo..

Yeah it's a 4.3L Vortec straight six (iirc). Anyway i decided against the SS amps but I will be getting two SS XXX 15s pretty soon. I changed my sig to what i am planning on getting. Any comments on the Autotek MM?

i hope you realize that you will need some massive power to get them moving. i had one in my car with a 40.1 and let me tell you it tsill wanted more power. just be ready
